The Action will run for 16 months (01.06.2019 to 30.09.2021) and the maximum amount of the grant is EUR 10.207.624,66. The Hellenic Asylum Service will act as Action Coordinator and Beneficiary along with two other beneficiaries namely NGO METADRASI \u201cAction for Migration and Development\u201d and Hellenic Police (Ministry of Citizen Protection). The Grant Agreement will fund the provision of interpretation and translation services to the Asylum Applicants and the deployment of police officers to the islands of Samos,Chios, Lesvos,Kos and Leros who will help in the asylum process. Moreover, the Hellenic Asylum Service will hire 54 caseworks for 11 months, will rent new premises in Chios, Samos and Lesvos and will purchase necessary, for the Asylum process, equipment.
