Greek authorities will not tolerate any acts of violence. Anyone causing, or provoking such incidents will be apprehended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alleged arsonists of Moria have been arrested. They are five young asylum seekers. As Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis<\/a> said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The police worked methodically and put an end to scenarios and baseless theories”. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And continued:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“(The state) proves every day that it is present with rigor, sensitivity, and humanity. Migrants, as well as local residents, have an interest in accepting our proposals and the reality of the new camp. […] I assure you that reason, safety, and normalcy will prevail.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
