{"id":7820,"date":"2020-09-17T11:22:13","date_gmt":"2020-09-17T08:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/migration.gov.gr\/?p=7820"},"modified":"2023-03-20T12:04:20","modified_gmt":"2023-03-20T10:04:20","slug":"ananeoseis-deltion-aitoynton-diethnoys-prostasias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/migration.gov.gr\/en\/ananeoseis-deltion-aitoynton-diethnoys-prostasias\/","title":{"rendered":"Extension of validity of International Protection Cards (Applicants\u2019 Cards)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Extension of Validity of International Protection Cards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Athens, September 12, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to avoid overcrowding and protect public health, the Minister of Migration and Asylum has decided to extend the validity period of applicants\u2019 cards (international protection cards), accordingly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">1.\tThe validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c1\u201d is extended until November 6, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">2.\tThe validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c2\u201d is extended until November 13, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">3.The validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c3\u201d is extended until November 20, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">4.The validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c4\u201d is extended until November 27, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">5.The validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c5\u201d is extended until December 4, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">6. The validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c6\u201d is extended until December 11, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">7.The validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c7\u201d is extended until December 18, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">8.\tThe validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c8\u201d is extended until December 29, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">9. The validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c9\u201d is extended until January 7, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">10.\tThe validity of applicants\u2019 cards that correspond to case numbers that end with the digit \u201c0\u201d is extended until January 14, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><strong>Regarding applicants\u2019 cards that are assigned for renewal to the Regional Asylum Office of Lesvos, the validity of these cards is extended until January 14, 2021.<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In order to provide better service to applicants and protect public health, renewals will be conducted at specific times and dates. Applicants will be able to find their relevant time and date at the following electronic application of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum website: http:\/\/applications.migration.gov.gr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>Applicants of international protection are invited to come to the Asylum Service Offices for renewal of their cards at their scheduled appointment- that is provided by the electronic application mentioned above.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be further announcements regarding the launch of the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
