Non-formal education actions are implemented by UNICEF Greece in collaboration with its partners, which are Non-Governmental Organisations that specialise in the education of children with a refugee background, as well as with the Universities of Athens, Thessaly, Thessaloniki and Patras. In particular, the NGOs participating are: ARSIS, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), ELIX, METAdrasis and SolidarityNow. 

The Ministry of Migration and Asylum and UNICEF Greece worked together with the Institute of Educational Policy of the Ministry of Education to develop the educational material used in the program. 

During the first phase of its implementation (2021-2024), the program was financed by the European Union and the Directorate-General for Home Affairs (DG Home) of the European Commission.
