The Minister of Migration and Asylum, Mr. Notis Mitarachi, had a working lunch with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Bulgaria, Mr. Boyko Rashkov, in Sofia.
At the center of the discussion, were European border protection issues as well as the new European Migration and Asylum Pact.
Mr. Mitarachi and Rashkov agreed that the common goal is to prevent migratory flows between Greece and Bulgaria and pointed out the primary need to protect the EU's eastern borders.
