The close cooperation between the Ministry of Migration and Asylum and Frontex, in the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan 2024, was confirmed in the best possible way today, during a meeting Frontex’s Headquarters in Warsaw, with the participation of, among other service actors, the Deputy Executive Director of Frontex, Lars Gerdes, and the General Director of the Greek Asylum Service, Marios Kaleas.
In the field of voluntary returns, the cooperation of the two sides will be further expanded and strengthened through the inclusion of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum in the Joint Reintegration Services (JRS) network as the 27th member – state. The JRS is a valuable tool, which ensures the safe and reliable return and reintegration of rejected asylum seekers to their countries of origin.
