Αt the joint request of the Asylum Service, the Swedish Migration Agency, and the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) granted a project, funded with 2 million euros by the EU, to strengthen regional cooperation in the Western Balkans on migration management issues.
In this context, the Asylum Service will assist with specialized staff in training, certification, and coaching programs at a special training center in Serbia, with the aim of strengthening the capacity to effectively manage mixed migratory flows, as well as optimizing the procedures for examining asylum applications, based on the Common European Asylum System
