In the context of the digital transformation of the asylum process and following the attribution of a Provisional Insurance and Health Care Number (PAAYPA), the Ministry of Migration and Asylum is issuing VAT numbers to third-country nationals that have a valid International Protection Applicant’s card.
From today, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the offices of the Asylum Service, the hosting facilities and the Reception and Identification Centers (RIC) will be attributing VAT to applicants of International Protection during registrations by appointment or during the renewal of Applicants’ cards after COVID-19 measures are over.
You can find out whether you have been assigned a VAT number, and subsequently your relevant Tax Office at: apps.migration.gov.gr/afm για το αν τους έχει αποδοθεί ΑΦΜ και σε περίπτωση που τους έχει αποδοθεί, για τον προσωπικό τους ΑΦΜ καθώς και την αρμόδια ΔΟΥ.
Όπως συνέβη και με την αυτόματη έκδοση ΠΑΑΥΠΑ, η ψηφιακή έκδοση ΑΦΜ θα συμβάλλει αποτελεσματικά στην περαιτέρω αποσυμφόρηση των γραφείων της Υπηρεσίας Ασύλου, στην αμεσότερη εξυπηρέτηση των αιτούντων Διεθνή Προστασία καθώς και στην αποσυμφόρηση των Δημόσιων Οικονομικών Υπηρεσιών (ΔΟΥ) ανά την Ελλάδα.
