The Asylum Service will provide services to the public only via electronic appointments. The Ministry of Migration & Asylum expands its digital services platform.

Applicants who wish to receive service should book an appointment via the digital portal applications.migration.gov.gr prior to visiting the asylum service offices. The Asylum Service will provide services to the public only via appointment. The Asylum Service will provide services to the public only via appointment.

The services that are already provided only via appointment are:

  • Scheduled interviews
  • Scheduled registrations
  • Submission of documents for family reunification (Dublin cases)

Appeals are submitted by exception without appointments due to restricted deadlines.

Since June 2020, the following services are offered exclusively online without requiring the physical presence of the applicants :

  • Application to change Contact Information
  • Application to Change Personal Data
  • Application to Postpone/Expedite the Interview Date
  • Application to Request Statement of Application Status
  • Application to Separate Files
  • Application to Submit Additional Documents
  • Application for Copies of personal file
  • Application for Legal Aid
  • Search for social security number

Further, in order to avoid crowding in the Asylum Service offices, the validity of applicants' cards is extended to November 2, 2020 up to January 14, 2021, depending on the last digit of their case number.
