Intercultural Mediators facilitate third-country nationals’ access to public services, medical, banking services and other services. They act as mediators between individuals or/and groups who differ in terms of their cultural beliefs and practices in order to ensure equitable communication and cultural understanding between all parties.
Intercultural Mediators may work in Migrant Integration Centers, non-government organizations, open facilities for refugees, schools and other institutions or bodies. Follow this link to find out more about Intercultural Mediators.
Third-country nationals who are lawful residents of the country have equal access to all public services in the country according to Greek laws. However, administrative difficulties and other issues may render access to services difficult for third-country nationals. The state takes necessary measures to resolve such problems.
