The Minister of Migration and Asylum, Mr. Notis Mitarachi, will travel tomorrow to Lille, France, in order to participate in the Informal Council of Home Affairs and Migration of the EU, which will be held by the French Presidency.
Mr. Mitarachi will attend, tomorrow evening, a working dinner οn the future of the Schengen area, in the presence of the French President, Mr. Emmanuel Macron.
The Council's agenda is expected to include the promotion of the negotiations on the new European Pact on Migration and Asylum, as the French Presidency has set itself the objective of reaching agreement on Pact’s main principles.
