The Minister of Migration and Asylum, Mr. Notis Mitarachi, met with the Minister of Interior of Slovenia, Mr. Ales Hojs, in Bled, Slovenia.
The talks focused on the current refugee crisis as a result of the Russian attack on Ukraine and its consequences in the EU Member States.
Mr. Mitarachi and Mr. Hojs reiterated their desire to provide adequate and decent reception conditions for Ukrainians displaced under the European Temporary Protection Directive and exchanged views on how the Ukrainian crisis affects the negotiation of the new Migration and Asylum Pact as well as the migration issue in total.
