The Asylum Service would like to inform the public regarding the following issues: 1.The validity of all international protection applicant cards that have been issued pursuant to Article 70, Law 4636/2019 which expired and have not been renewed during the time period from June 1st, 2020 until September 30th, 2020 (September 30th included) is extended until October 1st, 2020 (October 1st included). 2. Regarding those cards that expired during the time period that operation for the public was suspended, which was from March 13th, 2020 until May 31st, 2020, their validity has automatically been extended for a time period of six (6) months after the expiry date of the card, pursuant to the Ministerial Decision ΤΤ9028/2020 (Government Gazette Β 1854/15.5.2020). Applicants who have such cards in their possession are kindly requested to come at the end of the six month extension period. For Asylum Applicants who fall under Paragraph 2, after the six month extension of the validity of their cards, the additional extension mentioned in Paragraph 1 does not apply. 3. Finally, starting on Monday, June 15, 2020 the e-services portal of the Ministry for Migration and Asylum is operational.
