The RIS is formed by Central Service and the Peripheral Reception Services. The central Service location is Athens and has the responsibility of programming, designing and coordinating the actions taking place in regional Services, ensuring the smooth exercise of their authority.

The Central Service is responsible for ensuring the necessary conditions for the implementation of the work of the Regional Services. In addition to planning, it is responsible for overseeing the actions to be taken, which are in line with both the National Action Plan (national strategy) and the international commitments of our country. The Central Agency is developing cooperation with European and International Organizations while participating in EU-funded actions and programs and by other bodies.
